Zurich's great Romanesque church was begun around 1100 and consecrated about 1220, on the spot where — according to legend — the city's patron saints Felix and Regula were buried and where Charlemagne founded a canons' foundation.

From 1519 Huldrych Zwingli preached here, making the Grossmünster the cradle of the Swiss Reformation.
After lightning set a tower on fire in 1763, the towers were rebuilt: the octagonal upper storeys and the domed helmets that earned them the nickname “pepper pots” were added between 1781 and 1787. A seated Charlemagne still watches over the Limmat from the south tower.

Log in to BrickLink (free account). On the upload page, choose the file (or paste the copied list), select Create New Wanted List, name it “Grossmünster”, click Proceed, then Add to Wanted List.
